K-Stage! Move in cooperation with:
It’s time to put your K-Pop dance skills to the test again!
The K-Stage! Move will take place on the Saturday of the convention (02.11.2024) and will be held on the main stage in the main hall. We are looking for dancers who live Korean music and style and also want to prove their dance skills.
In addition to great prizes, the winners (group) can look forward to a big surprise! The qualification for a Europe-wide K-Pop Championship!!!

In addition to the K-Stage Movie, there will also be a dance contest this year. You can register for both competitions. However, if you are accepted to both, you may not perform the same songs.
Individual and group dances are judged and awarded separately.
Procedure
- First, a preliminary decision will be made via video submissions
- 15 finalists (solo or teams) will be selected for the final (02.11.2024 @ Yunicon)
- The 15 finalists perform on the main stage in front of the audience and jury
- The winners will be announced at the Yunicon award ceremony (see Yunicon program schedule) and the prizes will be presented there.
- The first place automatically qualifies for the Europe-wide championship at the Comiccon in Napoli, Italy! See below for more information.

The registration is only valid when all information has been filled in, the audio has been transmitted, and you have been contacted by K-Stage! Move Staff have received feedback.
*Audition Video Prerequisites:
- Landscape format
- Still camera
- High-resolution, uncut
- All dancers and faces must always be visible. This means that the video must not be filmed too dark and not too close
- The maximum length of 5 minutes must not be exceeded
Conditions of participation & song selection
- There are no restrictions on participation (age, origin, gender, etc.)
- Admission to the convention only with a valid Yunicon Saturday ticket or Conticket
- Medleys and intros are allowed
- Performance length maximum 5 minutes
- Only Korean songs are allowed (no other language versions, no English songs by K-Pop artists (example: Money by Lisa))
- Only original choreographies are permitted. If there are improvised passages in the original song, it is of course also permitted to improvise during these bars
- Acrobatics and other stunts must be announced in advance when registering
- Safety pants must be worn under skirts and dresses!
- No costs will be reimbursed in connection with this event. If the convention is canceled, the refund of the admission ticket must be clarified directly with Yunicon.
- XG for intros are permitted
- Like other program items at Yunicon, K-Stage! Move and uploaded the individual performances to YouTube. Individual clips may be used by Yunicon for advertising purposes. By registering for the competition, you agree to these conditions.
Comicon a Napoli
ComiCon in Naples, Italy, is one of the largest comic events in Italy and has been held annually since the 1990s. In 2023, it once again recorded a record number of visitors.
Now a big K-Pop contest will also be added to the program, in which the winners from the preliminary rounds of various European countries will compete for victory and decide who is the true K-Pop Dance Champion of the year.
This makes our competition an incredibly great opportunity that no one should miss out on!
Only the winning group can go to ComicCon, as it is a requirement of the event. Solo winners are excluded!
The pre-selection for Austria will be held directly at Yunicon. Travel expenses in connection with the competition in Italy will be covered by Yunicon.
All bookings by appointment only!
The date for the Comic Con for the finale will be announced first!
Jury & Evaluation
- The jury will consist of 3 people (for data protection reasons, these will not be announced in advance)
- Scoring is based on points. These are awarded for dance performance (power, correctness of steps, synchronicity), charisma (“facial expressions”) and overall performance
- A strong audience reaction can earn you extra points
- Placings or points will not be announced
Keep in mind that this is not just a dance competition – there is always much more to the overall performance at K-Pop! We are not looking for those who dance the choreo best at night, but those who present their song best. Let your favorite K-pop stars inspire you, then you have the best chance.
