In addition to our K-Stage Move, which is all about K-Pop songs, we would like to organize a general dance competition. Dances to “normal” songs or anime songs that have nothing to do with K-pop are preferred. If there are not enough registrations, K-Pop groups or individual participants can move up and perform K-Pop songs.
You can register for both competitions. However, if you are accepted to both, you may not perform the same songs.
Individual and group dances are judged and awarded separately.
The competition will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2024 on the main stage.

Send us the form below by 29.09.2024. If there are too many applications, there will be a pre-selection, so please send a short application video. The jury will select the participants in advance who will compete in the final round on site.
It is possible to register as an individual or as a group (see rules for more information)!
How does the evaluation work?
Each of the 3 judges gives 1-10 points for each evaluation point, after the performances everything is discussed and the points are added up.
The individual and group winners will be announced at the award ceremony on the respective day and the prizes presented there. If you are unable to be present at the award ceremony, please provide your contact details at the information stand.
Rules:
- Self-choreographed dances are judged on creativity and entertainment.
- In cover dances, the execution, mastery of mistakes and control of one’s own body are assessed.
- Facial expression, eye contact and audience interaction are important criteria.
- Synchronization is judged for both self-choreographed dances and cover dances for groups.
- As we only have a limited time slot, the performance should last between 3 and 5 minutes.
- Participants should arrive backstage 15 minutes before the start.
- The recording of images and audio recordings of participants is automatically permitted and can be used afterwards.
- A valid Yunicon ticket is required to participate. Tickets can be purchased at the VKK or at the box office.
- Participants should wear safety pants to protect their privacy and comfort.
- There is a waiting list in case there are cancellations. Successors will be notified by e-mail.
- If you are unable to take part in the competition, please notify us by e-mail so that we can inform the participants on the waiting list.
