- The instructions of the staff must be followed.
- Admission to YuniCon is only permitted after payment of the entrance fee, which is non-negotiable. The building may only be entered with a valid ticket. Security is authorized to carry out ticket checks at any time.
- The house rules apply throughout the convention area. In the event of violations, the organizer has the right to exclude persons who violate the house rules, cause a nuisance to other event visitors or disrupt the event from the event and to ban them from the premises. There is no right to a refund of the admission fee.
- The Lower Austrian Youth Protection Act applies at YuniCon. Young people under the age of 14 are allowed to stay until 11 p.m., from the age of 16 only until 1 a.m.
- Escape routes must be kept clear at all times.
- Taking photos of other people (especially potentially problematic photos such as pantyshots etc.) is only permitted with the consent of that person. If someone is reported for such photos, they will be asked by security to hand over their cell phone/camera/etc. to the police. to refute the accusation. If this is refused, the security or the organizer is free to issue a house ban or, in extreme cases, to file a complaint.
- In accordance with §1 of the Badge Act 1960 in conjunction with. Prohibition Act 1947, the public display of insignia, uniforms or parts of uniforms of prohibited organizations is punishable by law. Symbols, labels and emblems are also considered insignia. Symbols that are used as a substitute for original symbols “due to their similarity or their obvious purpose” are also prohibited. This means that the prohibition extends not only to obviously prohibited signs such as swastikas, but also to those that only suggest or imitate them, such as swastikas with omissions or other similar signs with other additions. Symbols that do not follow the ideology but can be interpreted similarly (e.g. inverted swastikas in Tokyo Revengers) are also not permitted at YuniCon due to the risk of confusion.
- Free Hugs signs are conditionally allowed at YuniCon. However, due to Covid-19 and personal boundaries, it is not permitted to force other visitors to hug you. If reports are made to the organizer in this regard, the organizer is free to issue a house ban. Voluntary hugs are ok, but please don’t run up to strangers to hug them!
- The sale of goods and the display of flyers is prohibited without prior agreement with the organizer.
- Smoking is absolutely forbidden in the building, we would like to ask all smokers to use the outside area.
- In the event of criminal acts at YuniCon, the organizer has the right to inform the police and file charges. Damage of any kind is prohibited (furnishings, vandalism, damage to walls & windows, theft damage, etc.). If this happens, the person responsible must pay for the damage.
- Drugs are not permitted at YuniCon. §1ff of the Narcotic Substances Act. A violation will result in a ban from the premises and a police report.
- If visitors or press representatives intentionally disrupt, obstruct or act inappropriately at YuniCon, the organizer is free to expel them from the event and ban them from the premises.
- Animals are prohibited at YuniCon. Exceptions regarding guide dogs etc. must be agreed with the organizer in advance.
- It is forbidden to bring alcoholic beverages.
- By participating in YuniCon, visitors agree that sound and image recordings may be made of them free of charge for advertising purposes.
- Admission to the evening events is only possible on presentation of a valid photo ID.
- Liability and insurance: The retailer/exhibitor is solely responsible for insuring the items brought along by the retailer/exhibitor against damage, burglary, theft, fire/water/transport damage. Each exhibitor is liable for any damage caused to third parties or the organizer at the stand.
- The organizer cannot be held liable for any damage caused by the use of its own stand equipment (including electronic devices).
- Aftercon parties: No access with full cups, these will be removed at the entrance.
- Persons under the influence of excessive alcohol or intoxicants will be expelled from the event and the grounds.
- By entering YuniCon, you agree that photos and video recordings may be made, which may be used by the organizer’s media team to present impressions.
- For security reasons, bags and clothing may also be checked for their contents.
- Visitors must leave the event and the grounds at the end of the opening hours.
- Cosplays must not be too revealing, i.e. breasts, private parts and buttocks must be sufficiently covered.
- Lost property must be handed in at the information stand.
- The aftercon parties are only allowed from the age of 16!
