Anhyra (Alejandra) is a professional cosplayer from A Coruña, Spain. She is a self-taught artist who started cosplaying in 2013 and specializes in creating high-quality armor, props and FX makeup effects. Her work demonstrates her passion for traditional sculpting, texture replication and meticulous attention to detail, with all her projects being handmade. She has extensive experience in the video game industry, has won major competitions and has also been a cosplay judge at many events and conventions.
Anhyra has participated in advertising campaigns and created cosplays and props for major gaming companies such as Bungie (Destiny 2), Activision Blizzard (World of Warcraft), Funcom (Dune: Awakening), Sharkmob (BloodHunt), Bethesda Nordic & Xbox SE (The Elder Scrolls Online), Team 17 (Blasphemous II) and PlayStation España (Destiny 2 & Diablo IV). She has also worked at booths at major events such as Gamescom, TwitchCon and PAX East.
In recent years, Anhyra has won awards such as Best Armor at BlizzCon Online and Best Cosplay at Dreamhack Beyond International. She has been invited as a professional and cosplay judge to numerous events throughout Spain and Europe, where she also holds workshops and panels on cosplay creation.
