General Terms and Conditions

1st organizer

2. conclusion of contract / inclusion

1. orders for admission tickets merely represent an offer to conclude a contract for the attendance of an event. Such a contract is only concluded upon receipt of the e-mail with details of the payment confirmation including these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”), which the ticket purchaser (hereinafter referred to as “visitor”) receives after payment. The visitor agrees to the validity of the GTC.

2. the organizer reserves the right to refuse orders without giving reasons. The customer will be notified of the rejection within 14 days of the order.

3. if the event is canceled due to the organizer’s fault, the organizer will refund the full ticket fee. If the event is postponed, the visitor must cancel within four weeks of the announcement of the postponement. In both cases, the tickets will be refunded within 90 days. Further claims are excluded.

3. implementation

1. the YuniCon (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”) shall take place at the Multiversum, Möhringgasse 2-4, 2320 Schwechat (hereinafter referred to as the “Event Site”). The GTC apply to the entire event site and its access routes on the site. Changes to the venue within the Multiverse are possible and will be announced by the organizer before the start of the event.

2. there is no entitlement to a replacement if tickets are lost.

4. program change / language

1. the organizer has the right to make changes to the announced program. In the event of insignificant changes, claims by the visitor are excluded.

2. the organizer points out that parts of the program may be held in English. Translations are not provided in this case. Claims by visitors who do not have sufficient language skills are excluded on this basis.

3. there is no entitlement to compensation in the event of delays in the program schedule. In addition, individual program items may take place in rooms with applicable maximum capacities. For the safety of visitors, these are observed by security staff. Participation in these program items cannot be guaranteed.

5. access

1. access to the event site is only permitted with a valid admission ticket, which must be presented by the visitor to the supervisory staff at the admission control. The supervisory staff can be recognized by their appropriate clothing.

2. persons with parental authority must carry written proof of their authorization and present a copy of the identity card of the person with parental authority upon request.

3. the organizer has the right to refuse admission to the event site without refunding the admission price if there is an important reason for doing so.

4. dogs – with the exception of guide dogs – and other pets are not permitted on the event grounds.

5 If there is a risk of partial overcrowding in individual areas or halls, the security personnel are authorized to temporarily deny access to these areas and to direct visitor flows in a security-oriented manner. The instructions of the staff must be followed.

6. guests at the event agree that bags, boxes, rucksacks or other transport items may be subject to random searches on entering and leaving the event.

6. prohibited items

1. the supervisory staff are authorized to carry out a bag or body search during admission control or during the event on the entire event site to ensure that the visitor is not carrying any prohibited items.

2. if prohibited items are carried, they must be handed in at the checkroom. The organizer shall also be entitled to the rights set out in Section 7.

7. domiciliary rights and behavior at the event

1. the householder’s rights on the event site are exercised by the organizer and its supervisory staff. The instructions of the supervisory staff must be followed.

2. in the event of a violation, the organizer and/or the supervisory staff are entitled to expel the visitor from the event site without refunding the admission price and to issue a ban from the premises. If the visitor does not comply with the reprimand and the house ban, the organizer may call the police to enforce his domiciliary rights. Further rights and claims of the organizer remain unaffected by this.

8. data protection

1. address data collected during the ordering process will only be passed on to third parties for shipping purposes.

9. other

1. the organizer reserves the right to transfer the rights and obligations arising from the event attendance contract to a third party; the organizer will inform the visitor of this. In such a case, the visitor has an extraordinary right of termination within one month of becoming aware of the contract transfer.

2. if the visitor has no general place of jurisdiction in Austria or in another EU member state, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is the place of business of the organizer.
